About me
David Morales is a dedicated educator with twenty years of experience, currently serving as the ENLACE teacher at Mayfield High School in Las Cruces, New Mexico. In the 2024-2025 school year, he is expanding his role to include classroom teaching, program development, and teacher coaching. A passionate advocate for student success, David works to increase graduation rates and college opportunities for all students. He has been recognized for his excellence in teaching, receiving honors such as the 2016 New Mexico Teacher of the Year, the 2022 Golden Apple Excellence in Teaching Award, and the 2024 Golden Apple Foundation Award for Teaching Excellence. Beyond the classroom, he actively supports the growth of ENLACE teachers, ensuring the program's continued impact on students and the community.
