About me
Anita Hernandez, professor and the Don and Sarrah Kidd Endowed Chair for Literacy, New Mexico State University. I am a former bilingual education teacher and work in the Language, Literacy, and Culture program in the College of Health, Education, and Social Transformation.
My work is focused on professional development for both in-service and pre-service teachers, emergent bilingual students and their literacy and bi-literacy needs.
