Talking to Students About AI: Fostering Ethical Use in the Classroom

How do we guide students to use AI responsibly? In this session, we’ll explore strategies for having meaningful conversations with students about the ethical use of AI in the classroom. We’ll discuss ways to frame AI as a learning tool, address common challenges like academic integrity, and create a classroom culture that values critical thinking and responsible technology use. Participants will leave with practical approaches and discussion prompts to help students make thoughtful, ethical decisions when using AI.
